The process of drying and grinding the placenta so that it is a fine powder. This powder is then put into capsules so that the birthing mother may consume her placenta in pill form.
The process of taking a thumb nail size of raw placenta and putting it into vodka (or other alcohol). The birthing mother is able to use this by adding a few drops under her tongue.
The process of "painting" the placenta with either leftover cord blood or food grade dye and then "stamping" the placenta on to either high quality card-stock or canvas. Prices vary depending on the materials used.
Labor Doula services include two prenatal visits and two postnatal visits along with being on-call for the birth from 36 weeks on.
